So last Saturday we participated in Speak! Ventures Debate Championship and it was a tiring but fulfilling day (:

Three prelim rounds ; round one was against raffles institution and we won :D lost round two against hci and I was really reaaally disappointed with myself because we didn't give our best and screwed up really badly. It's not everyday we get to debate against hwa chong and when we do we just had to screw it up >:  round three was a silent round against catholic high and tbh they looked damn good in their full black attire hehe ;)

Next upcoming competition ( major one ) is the Singapore Secondary Schools DC and round one is next Friday and its a prepared round meaning the topic is released one week before for teams to prepare. Buuuuut there's CNY so most likely the topic is gonna get released earlier aka really soon aka maybe tomorrowwwww >< debates I love you but why are you so haaaard :c

Quick Update

Haven't posted for awhile, but since I treat this blog sorta like a diary so I'll just do a quick post about what's been happening (:

Could sum up these two and a half weeks in just one word : B-U-S-Y. I've been on mc for like four days because of high fever and I missed out quite a lot of chem lessons so I'm lacking behind, and I owe my bio teacher some worksheet that I haven't even done ohgoshhhh D:

~

Also, my cca ( debates ) has a competition this weekend and our topic is given a week before for us to prepare so today we just went to Starbucks and camped there for 3 hours to discuss and research and all. We weren't too productive and our first prelim round will be up against Raffles Institution ( freaking strong team if not one of the strongest ) so just our luck ): I really wanna give it my all and hopefully win that round though. I'm serious >:

Another bad thing is that today I've just broken my new year resolution to get to bed before 11 ))))): But guess I'll make an exception today though I guess since I reached home late and all :/ 

~

My only wish now is for time to slow down and for things to go on smoothly ): Note to self: Please procrastinate less, time is precious!

Shopping for Cosplay Materials & GPL Winter Finals

I've finally came home, ate and showered after such a loooooong day out with my good friend, Jia Yi :D Here's a long post about what we did today so please enjoy reading it ^_^

So the other day, Jiayi told me she was gonna cosplay ( for her first time! ) and she wanted to go shop for materials to make her own costume since buying or renting is more expensive than making your own :/ 

~

So at 10:00am in the morning we went all the way to Chinatown to get material and cloth :D it took us quite some time to find the building with the whole bunch of textile shops, but thanks to a recommendation from a local cosplayer, we were told that what we wanted to get could be found in Chinatown :D The cosplayer I got the advice from is Tousa Bao and he's a reaaaaally good cosplayer so please go search and check out his Facebook fan page ^_^

We went to a couple of different shops to get all the cloth and we purchased black cotton, grey and white satin and some red cloth for the ribbon part but idk what material it was LOL ^^;

Next, we went to the library@chinatown to do homework and study since a student's still gotta study despite all our hobbies HAHA SO DISCIPLINED RIGHT LOL JK
~
We studied from like around 12 to 2plus then went to guardian and Watson in Chinatown point to get makeup for her cosplay since inori's skin colour is lighter than jiayi's tan skin LOLOL we ended up playing around with the testers especially the blue eyeshadow and she ended up looking like she got punched in the eye HAHAHAHHAA. However we didn't buy anything from Watson or guardian since she's on a budget so we resorted to daiso makeup which she deemed as "ultimate scrub makeup" since she's extremely suspicious of the low price HAHA

After that we took a break and went to eat some mango snow ice thingy :D

After that, it was 6oclock already I was just randomly checking Facebook while we were walking around Chinatown Point and I saw a post that said that the Garena Premier League Winter Finals were held at Garena Stadium this evening/night so we decided to travel down to Bugis to catch it :D it's like a south-east asian ( I think ) premier league competition for professional League of Legends gaming (: We weren't allowed to enter the actual stadium so we camped in front of the big screen outside with the other people who came to watch :b

Bans and Picks for Round 2

We missed Round One, but watched Round 2 and 3 there and after the third round it was like 8:30pm already so we went home ( and missed Round 4 D: ) and then I reached home and watched Round 5 on live stream and TPA won :D <3 So I guess that's a really good end to a long and enjoyable day ^_^

Senior High

Thursday and Friday this week have been really memorable...met my new class and made a couple of friends like Andrea and Nana :D During the closing ceremony of the two day initiation, we changed into our new senior high uniform and we were given a tie :b are we cool yet 8)

Also, I met up with my clique from my previous class and they gave me my belated birthday presents ( since my birthday's in the holidays and we couldn't meet up ): ) and we took a picture together in our senior high uni :D I'll have to get used to not seeing them in class )':

So grateful for the presents :')

Lessons officially start tomorrow, and I'm determined to study hard this year :D hope the teachers are nice and workload isn't too much x.x

Haven't been blogging much so I decided to post about my new year resolutions ^^

I guess my list of resolutions are pretty feasible HAHA but the one I really want to work on is no. 7.
You all know that feeling at the start of a new term or new year and you're like " IM GONNA WORK HARD IM SERIOUS BOUT THIS ' and then after school starts for a week you're like " LOL  JK  ^^; " I hope to change that this year hehe (:

How do I start to type the tales of a 15 year old girl's life?

I've been inspired by my friend to start a blog so here's the very first post ^^

Initially, I've always thought that it was a waste of time to sit in front of the computer, just to blog about stuff that's happened to yourself and all that, but I've managed to convince myself to start a blog for the following reason:

Whenever I relive a memory in my head, the details are vague and the emotions are of the past. But if I were to blog about stuff that's happened to me that I want remember, then when I grow up, or when I'm bored, I can come here and go back to read about that day. (: I guess it's kind of like keeping a diary but I'm too lazy to write I guess ^^;

Anyways, I've also decided not to privatize my blog in case any ( nonexistent ) person is interested or something LOL. For me, I kind of enjoy reading other people's blogs to see what goes on in other people's lives ( not in a creepy way ) :b So for anyone, stranger or friend who would like to read my blog, please enjoy your stay here ^_^
